I'm getting chunky

I'm no hunk but I have always considered myself a decent looking guy. I have maintained the same weight since college, a few pounds over average but not much. Lately, it seems I am getting a bit of a gut. Don't know when it started happening but my metabolism has slown down to virtually zero. Now all my pants, which used to be nice and comfy, are now getting snug and I have popped a few buttons recently. I am eating the same amount I always have and exercising just as little but it seems like, all of the sudden, I'm getting a little Pillsbury Doughboy thing going.

I guess I wouldn't care so much but I was many pounds overweight when I was younger and a teenager and I have kind of a complex.

sad

Oh yeah, that's right...I'm letting myself go to pot then. lol

Actually, my wife is starting to notice a little. She's not mean or dogging me but she's making little comments.

Time to get on the Soloflex.

Funny...I've developed a gut as well...and yesterday I noticed a place that opened up near me called CUTS.

It's a male equivalent to CURVES. I'm seriously thinking about joining.

Marriage will do that to you.

Wait until you have a kid and turn 35.

I look hilarious when I work out. Maybe it's the tight spandex pants I wear. I do need some sort of fitness regime.

Oh man...

You better find a way to lose it.

Your metabolism goes wayyyyy down later.

I've had to cut out so much calories daily...even the alcohal.

I'd start working out now, man.

Tomorrow I will start my crash diet, which will basically mean getting the fruit cup at Wendy's instead of my usual spicy chicken sandwich for lunch.

everyone should be taking in between 1200 - 2000 calories per day. do minimal exercise and cut out caffiene. it is best to eat several small meals a day then 3 regular sized meals and if you want a snack then snack, just make it healthy. not a biggie... mr.green

Precisely.
In fact - try what I do.
I don't eat until I sign off the ORG.
REALLY limits your intake, believe me.

I cut out caffeine a month ago, well soda in general intake about 1200-1500 cals a day and with a mild work out regimine, I have lost those last 7 horrid baby pounds.

I feel wonderful.

Pushing myself off of anything sounds like too much exercise. I could try to slink off of it every once in a while. Usually, I just collapse in a heap.
