So get this.

We have a need to get a temp in to cover a gal leaving (admin). Also at the same time another gal is going on maternity leave (exec admin) and is ordered to be bed ridden for the next 4 weeks...and isn't due for another 8...so pretty much she is OUT.

So we had this temp come in and she seemed real sharp and nice. The agency was doing us good as our gal leaves soon. The temp agency goofed I think by letting her know that there were possibly 2 positions that would be available. The Admin and the Exec Admin. She was shown around...and when she was shown the Exec Admin area..she was like "Oh I feel SO much more comfortable back here" "I'd much rather have this position". So like that she was uninterested in the original job. The admin was pretty distraught as she really needed someone good in until they found a permanant replacement. The only caveat to this temp getting the Exec admin job was the pregnanat gal wasn't here neither was her boss and they need to at least meet her.

The original Admin called the agency and told them to send another temp and that regardless of what happened, she didn't want the temp they sent as she'd always be looking for something else (apparently all she did was support executives)...and if the temp ended up leaving, they certainly would not be looking out for anyone's interest.

Turns out that the Exec overwhelmed the temp in the interview and they wanna see someone else...This gal was so cool and confident...probably too much for her own good. And you know the funny thing...is that that position is demanding but it isn't THAT hard. The Exec just made it look like it was that way.

So Ha Ha Bitch!!!! WHen you throw all your eggs in one basket you wind up with a scrambled eggs...and those are SO boring.
