Concentration

Is there such a thing as suffering from a lack of concentration? In other words, is there a condition whereby one cannot concentrate on something whether it be literature, work etc for a great length of time? What natural cures are there?

The only things I can concentrate on for long periods are those that interest me. I guess that would be my cure - do things that interest you.
