So my mother in law is flying in tonight... ...and yesterday I cleaned my house like I was being paid for it.
Does anyone else freak out a little bit when their mother in law visits? Do you feel the need to show her you're the best housekeeper/cook/mother/wife and all around fantastic person? | |

my mother in law has only visited my house once and she was cool. first

im like this when my own mother comes to stay!
havent met the mother-in-law to be yet, but if she was ever to arrange a visit, id be exactly the same, running about like a blue arsed fly trying to get the place ship-shape, hoping to give a good impression!  | |

That is so funny, because when my Mom comes over I know she wouldn't think anything if the house was cluttered and I served up Cheese Jax. But my mother in law is different. I feel the need to show her how good I am to her son. It's kinda sick, isn't it? | |
