any small business owners on the org?

what mistakes did you make?

how did you get started as far as money and stuff?

what are the things that a small business owner must know or do or have before starting?

what type of small business can offer the smallest liability?

and i was told it was good to go non-profit if possible, what are the pros and cons of this?

Many different answers depending on type of business you want. i operate by the rules

organise yourself. Plan ahead so you always have a vision of the business - many good books available or perhaps your bank has information on starting a new business. Planning avoids many problems. And if you do get a problem DONT PANIC. businesses are supposed to get problems. Chill. think of a few solutions. work out the best one. and then GO FOR IT!
As equality grows, violence declines.

I looked it over on Amazon, it looks good.
Thanks for the tip.
I think I got a great business idea. My main concerns at this point is getting/ keeping good employees (keeping the buggers from stealing from me), finding the right product mix, and keeping a lid on cost.
