Effeminite men

Ok this one time at work this black guy comes up to me and sits down next to me and grabs my hand and says "Hi, You are so pretty. I can't get over you. I wanna take you out" He had the most feminnine mannerisms and had a soft, almost girlish voice and smile. He was very cute and he made me smile but I was super perplexed because I was thinking "Aren't you gay?" After I thought about it I remember something Vanity said thinking the first time she met Prince she thought he was gay and I remember LaToya Jackson saying how forward Prince was with her even though he was super fem... biggrin after this experience I totally know what they were talking about! He wasn't your steryotypical guy but he was intriquing!!!

I haven't read any responses. I'm gunna post this anyway. It's what popped into my head when I read this. My pops is one of the most manliest men I know. He don't wash clothes, he don't wash dishes. He adoids many things labeled as feminine. I'm cool with that, and don't see much wrong with it. Now he's not chauvenistic, please don't misinterpret this...he's got his rtoles...and leaves my mom to hers...that's all...

I felt this way at least, untill he agreed to go to a Cher concert with my mom....

that was bad enough...

...he then asked me to "limewire" a copy of Cher singing U2's I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For. I refused. no no no! That AIN'T happening. I'm not gunna let U cross over pops.

First of all, it's spelled effeminate. Second, why must your threads qualify a person by the color of their skin? Third, who gives two pumps and a stroke if he was effeminate or not? That does not automatically determine if someone is gay or not.

Because of stronger stances in the african american community against homosexuality, it seems it's more taboo for a black man to be gay, and it's covered up more often. Hence it's more unusual when revealed. That's the thought I think Krystal was trying to convey...

I just said he was black because I was trying to describe him..and he was black like Prince so I was just trying to draw the similarity between how I felt meeting him and how Vanity said she felt when meeting Prince...my gawd can't you say someone is black if they are without people thinking you are some kinda racist??? Jeez I was just describing the man...and yes my first impression of him was he was gay because I don't see that many men acting so girly so whatever...anyway my point was him being so fem was kinda a turn on for me!

rolleyes Did I call you a racist? You and your homies on here are the ones that bring up skin color almost regularly and then other folks on here wonder why we get upset over race issues or the past. rolleyes

Well I am not black so the first thing that pops in my head when I see a black guy is A) he's a man and B) he is black...that is kinda the first things you notice about someone. Same goes for if I see an Asian man, or arab woman or old white lady...why are you guys automaticaly thinking it is negative when someone just registars what someone looks like??

I don't believe that it was necessary to identify the guy as a "black guy" when recanting your story. Especially since this thread is supposedly about effeminate men. Just because that may be the first thing you notice does not mean that you have to identify the person by that race.

i think we might be barking up the wrong tree here... the thread is not about an effeminate man, or a black man, or a gay man... the thread is more about Krystal, and that's why she's not hearing us.

No. The first things I notice about people is not their skin color and I don't give a fuck if anyone on here doesn't believe me. I do not qualify people by the color of their skin and it's never an issue with me until someone here or in real life tries to make it that way. This weekend, I met a bunch of beautiful people and I was not like: My white friend PK or my black friend Handclaps or my Puerto Rican friend Finess.

God, this shit is so ignorant. disbelief

Krystal's threads are always about Krystal and the rise she can get outta people. I usually just try to skip over them without reading them. I only clicked on it because I wanted to see what other shallow thing folks could make fun of.
