fucking up!

Usually with the release of a remake movie (in the case of "Batman", a new and major addition to the series) the companies that own the rights to said franchaises often sneak out the older verisons of the movie out on DVD. "Batman" and it's lesser sequels have already been released on DVD but they are all barebones because they were released right when DVD players hit stores. I remember hearing about possible rereleases of these movies with tons of bonus features but it looks like it isn't happening this summer and unless the movie is a bit hit (and with a budget of $130 million, it needs to make "Spiderman" money!) I don't see the older movies getting that treatment, which is a shame. For Prince fans, this would be a chance to see the "Batman" videos on DVD. For "Batman" fans, who knows what kind of commentaries and behind the scenes things they have in the valut! Luckily, though, the 1990s series "Batman" tends to be coming out very reguarally on DVD. I own the first set and have watched half of it and really like it. Hell, even the hilarious movie with Adam West and Burt Ward playing themseleves in "Batman" like situations and reminsing about the show got released recently (and the movie, which was on CBS, was very funny).


Now the "Bewictched" people got the right idea. That show is finally going to be released on DVD June 21st, only days before the movie comes out.

Anyone have any possible news on the "Batman" rereleases!

BTW, for fans of "Tabtiha" (I think I might be one), the short lived sitcom that followed the now grown daughter of Samantha and Darren, that series will come out on DVD same day as "Bewicthed". Good work!
