Not afraid of Death as it is clearly a part of life, but knowing oneday is coming where I will no longer experience what I do everyday is kinda eerie and makes me appreciate the life I have lived thus far!!

afraid of death ????? not really i guess...

im afraid of leaving my babies behind, and what kind of life they will have if im not here to see what happens to them sad

im afraid of HOW i will die, and much like its already been said, i will throw myself into a panic attack behind that one disbelief so, lets not go there.

im afraid of what it will do to my family, and i dont want to bring them sadness.

but, in being gone... as in no more bills, no more heartache, no more decisions ?? thats ok with me... i just hope that its true there is a heaven and i really hope that i make it there pray
One of the best days of my life... http://prince.org/msg/100/291111

There's a lot of certain opinions on this thread, you all seem very sure of yourselves whether there's something after/was something before/is fuck all following.
I couldn't catch a breath again if I knew, for certain, this was it and everyone and everything that's ever died was really gone. I'd choke, really, if someone proved that to me.
I'm not afraid to say death terrifies me, it knaws, this colourless leveller, it's the only thing that does. But, aye, I see the funny side. Wee cracked and fragile animals, convince ourselves of lies and allusions to use either as crutches or a swords.

I won't be proved right or wrong either way. Anyone who says they know something for sure is a liar.

Well let's see, I have been shot at, in a coma, car rolled over several times in several different car accidents and stopped breathing in my sleep on a weekly basis. I have gotten over my fear of death it self. My fear would be not being able to see my loved ones. Not the change over itself.

I think people who are afraid of death are the ones that dont believe there is a heaven. If they did believe, then why be afraid?

I don't think people are as afraid of where they're going as they are of what they're leaving and missing.

Death, Destruction, Despair, Delirium, Dream, Destiny, and Desire. I recommend Endless Nights. Good shit.

I've been thinking...(that's dangerous) rolleyes ..about this a little more....
I ...like one or two others here, and without going into detail, have been very close to this state....and it's frightening and strangely calm too...

It probably is the act of dying ...of losing control and leaving a place and loved ones behind behind....

The actual state of death may be more peaceful and restful...knowing you are giving your mortal self back to nature and living on physically by feeding the earth and it's life...hmmmmm

Sorry ....just me rambling....

What a way to start the day.....rolleyes
