I went to an art fair tonight

And I got two pictures of marbles, printed on a thick textured watercolor paper, woot! but I realized that if Byron isn't selling his photos, he could seriously do so.

One has about five marbles, with ribbons of white swirled in them, and the other is about 10 marbles all different colors, but clear. They are not touching, in the second one, and its more aerial, but the first one is more eye level.....shit, I must be confusing lol I AM SO HAPPY, THOUGH! I have never made a purchase at an art fair, ever!!!!

mushy art

Hiya bluesbaby! (What happened to your kitty avvie?)

I too love art...it's so subjective. I think it's great
that a group of people can look at a piece and all be
interpreting it in different ways.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Hi Revol!
Dex made a huge rant about his feelings on religion, and people being like sheep, so I decided to put up my "anti sheep" avi, as a statement about me being a minister but not a "sheep" in the sense of .....okay, was that enough? lol

Thanks for the comment, though. Its good to see you!

Very cool that you found some art that you liked!

I agree with you, though, that Byron should get up off of his ass and start selling his art. He and I had talked briefly about this the other day!

There were more photographers there than anything else, but like other forms of art, such as watercolor or pastels, photography is really being incorporated with other forms, such as watercolor, textiles, even some really great pictures imposed on metal.....

I've never been to an art fair... I think I should go sometime. My boyfriend is an artist and maybe it'd be something we could do together...

Are you able to show us a picture of the art that you purchased? I'd like to see!

I would love to. My parents are artists, so I usually am 'my mom could do this' , "my dad could have done that", but I try to be more open to varieties of art.
