i smoke less and less all the time - really, these days the only places i will smoke are at home (not indoors, but on my back balcony only) or at clubs if i'm drinking. i don't enjoy taking smoke breaks at work because i can't enjoy a smoke if someone's gonna come up to me wanting to bum a cig or some stranger wanting to come be my little 'smoking buddy' and blather on about their ludicrous little life whether i like it or not. screw that. and i don't smoke when i'm out walking anymore, mainly because i don't wanna bug people, but also because i just got sick of people trying to bum off me all the time. what's going on with that, anyway? if i see someone with a cell phone, is it okay for me to "bum a call"? i think it should be. same principle, right? anyway. i had a point. what was it?

oh: CELL PHONES! i find cell phone abusers far more "barbaric" and "disgusting" than thoughtless smokers. i can deal with smoke stink wafting for a few seconds, but i really don't need to be trapped with some schmoe who's transmitting his or her banal personal business to the world, merely because they think their cell phone service includes some kind of delusional bubble of privacy and soundproofing or some shit. i wish i had a key chain that scrambled cell phone signals within a 30 ft. radius of me wherever i went. that would be awesome.
