Even though I smoke, I will not walk in public puffing a cigarette.

For some odd reason I feel that I should keep my smoke to myself.

I will smoke at a bar, and the privacy of my back yard.

Usually I don't have a problem with people smoking around me, but when I'm surrounded by a smoker all day sometimes I do wish they'd just stop smoking. What does bother me is that a lot of heavy smokers are incredibly selfish and they don't care if their smoke bothers others. In fact they act as if those who can't (or don't want to) deal with it are just trouble makers.

The only place I can't bring myself to smoke is in a restaurant. I feel like we're all enclosed and I'm smoking the place out. Probably because everyone is sitting so close to me.

Now, if there's a bar in the restaurant, I can smoke at a high-top with people next to me, or while sitting at the bar, and I'm fine. So, that kinda blew the theory above out of the water.

Any place else is fair game if it's allowed.
