I'm really enjoying it too. Liked Dr Who as a kid, then 1977 and Star Wars happened and it made me realise polystyrene rocks and papier mache monsters weren't going to cut it with me anymore. I lost interest when Tom Baker finished.

This new series is spot on though, good effects (for the BBC) good performances, and decent stories too. They've taken liberties with the continuity (He's the only Time Lord left, Gallifrey is gone etc) but i'm not bothered. It's good.

nod Agreed. I'm anxious to see what they have did w/the newer version of the show. I guess that I will have to wait to see it on BBCA b/c I live in the States. Hopefully, they will start showing the episodes over here.

I saw this week's espiode and I like it!
Still very British, the new Doctor has ears like Prince Charles.
Just two questions:

1. What's with the pump to make the TARDIS go?
The old TARDIS was just close the door, press a few buttons, and flip the switch.

2. No more Time Lords?
If you know what happens in the future, how can you get wiped out?
