i once went on a really long roadtrip with someone really close to me, and we listened to sonic youth albums all the way back from our destination to my place. of course, a) it helped that we were both sonic youth fans and b) i was so damn sick of sonic youth when i got home i wanted to throw all my CDs out the window, but when we were on the road it sounded nice. thurston moore and lots of driving go well together. i wouldn't advocate for nonstop SY, but maybe take along the 'goo' or 'dirty' albums.  | |

i said fuck it and kept on driving past my home and onnnnn,..... til the album was finished !  | |
