Ultimate Fighting Anybody been following it on SpikeTV? I didn't really get into this until recently. They had the live championship on tv last night, and it was pretty good...especially the second match. My roommates are starting to get into it too  I'm still not familiar with a lot of the fighters in the UFC though. Well, except for Ken Shamrock and that's because he was in WWF for a while. He fought last night, btw. For those interested, it's gonna re-air tonight at 10 pm on Spike. I watched the fights last night! The Bonnar/Griffen fight was AMAZING! Wow! It honestly was tough to tell who really won that one...wow! | |

I can't say I've ever seen a UFC fight. Maybe I'll download one sometime.
I did however work at a ultimate wrestling show once and thought it was quite interesting to be honest. It wasn't quite as extreme as some of the rules of other associations are. All the amateur wrestlers couldn't wait to get their opponent down on the mat, (kick) boxers prefered to fight standing up of course. They even asked me if I wanted get a taste of the action. I thought of it for a second and declined even though some of them weren't that impressive as I later found out. It's smart to never underestimate a trained fighter.  [Edited 4/10/05 11:45am] | |

yeah....I thought Bonner was gonna win. That was cool they gave both of them contracts. They both deserved it. I was hoping Ken Shamrock would last longer than he did, but he's a legend in UFC, so he'll live. Yeah...Shamrock just slipped and it was over after that...I was definitely hoping for a little more...oh well...the Bonnar/Griffen fight was worth it! Anyone who didn't watch it should definitely check it out! Bloody as hell!  | |

Is ultimate fighting the one that lords itself up as being a mixture of karate, kick boxing and kung-fu?
So does it really get as hard as the usual kumate?  ..... BULLSEYE!  | |

[Edited 4/10/05 11:45am] well, it doesn't really come on t.v often. Occasionally FoxSports will air random matches and Spike Tv showed a marathon leading up to the live match yesterday. Other than that I don't really have exposure to it. Ultimate Fighting is more boxing/martial arts though.
