There were alot of kiwi fruit in my Mums fruit bowl at home and she asked if I wanted one, cos no one in the house were eating them, so I thought, yeah ok.. i will have one.



Well my Mum expleined why she couldnt eat them anymore and said they make the inside of her ears itch and her tongue tingle..

I laughed.. and carried on eating..

Well Fuck me sideways! After eating just one, I have had itchy ears inside and a tingly tongue all day! I wish my Mum never told me, cos I would never have made the connection and still enjoyed my kiwis.. but now it has put me off them big time!

Does anyone else experience this, and do you know what causes this? (Apart from the obvious.. eating kiwi fruit I mean.. )

You're having an allergic reaction Red

If it's not the first time in your life that you've eaten kiwi fruits, then you're probably reacting to chemicals on the fruit, such as pesticides. Or depleted uranium



Has your mum always had this allergy with kiwi's, or just this bowl?

You know when your throat is itchy and you have to stick your fingers in your ears and twiddle them and swallow hard to relieve your itchy throat? I been doing that all day.. but I wonder if it is the kiwi or the shitty chemicals? damn, I wish I knew, cos I love kiwis.. but now this is gonna put me off eating them infuture too..
