You have no idea how bad the withdrawl symptoms can be....holy poop. If you go off of it, you're supposed to ween yourself off with the help of your doc but I just ran out so I'm kinda quitting cold turkey. Unfortunately, I haven't seen my doc for about 2 years so they won't refill it.

you need to get in and see someone RIGHT AWAY !! it is not healthy for you to quit something like that cold turkey shake i know you know this, but seriously, get in to see someone, or go to the emergency room.... there is a reason they have you get off these type meds slowly, and you need to listen to their advice nod

best wishes... i'd send you some of my valium if i didnt need it so damn bad lol

I know... sad I had an appointment last week, but I had to skip it...I gotta call tonight when I get home and reschedule...I actually have about 6 pills left so I've been trying to ween myself off on my own schedule, but I was taking 50mg and now I've only been taking like 20mg every couple of days to try to get rid of the withdrawl symptoms...the body shocks are by far the WORST thing to experience....really, really weird feeling....

Paxil treats social anxiety disorder and depression so it honestly is the best for me....I've tried a few others, but Paxil works wonders.

Anxiety

i have SAD, and one year i tried auntie paxil to deal with my seasonal shit. thing is, i don't need it once it gets to be spring. i feel great. so the year i tried it and spring rolled around, i quit taking it and HOLY CRAP.

baaaad trip, man. shake

so i wound up weaning myself off it, and that seemed to work. ever since then, when winter comes around, i just deal with it.

I would rather have someone place my balls in a vice grip and start going crazy than feel the fucking "shocks" running through my body - HORRIBLE!

Dook...please be very careful...the symptoms from a doctor assisted withdrawl can be devastating...GET TO A DOCTOR. Do not do it alone. I did a year ago or so ...worst mistake! The nightmares alone... eek eek I wish you the best...please be careful. hug

hmm

No really....I went through a depression in my early twenties (although now it seems silly), but I tried Paxil for a limited amount of time. It made me feel aggressive and cold.

Not good.
