Next Wednesday my family and I are making a trip 2 London as we have an appointment at the US Embassy at 11AM. We are travelling from Bournemouth 2 Londons Victoria Station. The thing is as we have a specific appointment time(The US Embassy is very fussy and particular about u being there at the exact appointment time), We will have 2 take a taxi from Victoria Station directly 2 the US Embassy at Grosvenor Square.

Anyway, can any London .orgers tell me how much taxi fares are now per mile?? Are taxis still more expensive than buses?? We would catch a bus but then as we have a specific apointment time we prefer 2 take a taxi!!
