Robert Blake - Not guilty

Verdicts just announced. Not guilty on murder or solicitation to murder charges.

I wouldn't go so far as to say someone deserves to die for being a low life disgusting con artist thief but I'm sure Blake is glad Bonnie Lee is out of his life. Too bad it had to be through a death.

Damn, talk about being surprised. I didn't follow it closely, but I felt that the Hangin' Jury aura was all around. Wait for the civil suit to come in a few weeks, which her family deserves to do.

Some of her family members are low life scumbag con artists as well. If they win a civil suit, wonder if they'll return the money they've stolen from other people.

hmmm my thoughts are I was hoping for a non-conviction. I was excepting a conviction though. And now that he didn't get convicted, I feel as though he got away with it.

Well he's from Baretta...a 70's cop show and later was featured as the creepy guy in Lost Highway. Apparently, he was out to dinner with his wife (who he couldn't stand, yet had to marry because she was preggers with his kid) Apparently she was a gold digger...or something.

They went out to dinner and afterwards, he had to go back in to get something (I think his gun...which he always carried) and when he got back, she had been shot to death.

Prosecutors went for that he killed her or had her killed. Defense went for that many hated her and someone she had cheated in the past killed her. SHe had a lot of enemies apparently.

When celebrity cases like this come up "Not Guilty", it never surprises me.

Celebrities are almost always found "not guilty".

This may be good news for MJ...

(Oh, the guy who killed the pregnant lady was Scott Peterson, the pregnant lady was his wife, Laci Peterson... poor thing sigh )

He was my first crush when I was 5 years old. He was one of the Little Rascals. He was MICKEY.

He scared the shit out of me in Lost Highway. He was talking on the phone with, I think, Nicholas Cage and then all of a sudden he's in front of him. And he's still talking to him on the phone. CREEPY.

This stuff always happens to me. As soon as I wrote Fred. ELAINE on SEINFELD said "George, Fred is gay."

Not surprised at the verdict. The prosecution case against Blake was very weak. I think the Jacko trial will go exactly the same way, although I think that other plastic surgery disaster, Lil Kim, will get convicted and do some time.

On tv i saw people saying that this was another O.J Simpson routine. It's not though. They had amazing evidence against O.J and because of a mistake he got away with murder. This case was different. The evidence they had against Blake just didn't add up. That's why you haven't seen a huge outcry over him being found not guilty.

Another thing that seems important to the masses is what the victim was like. Laci Peterson was the innocent all american girl type who was alos pregnant. People liked what they knew of her. In this case, Bonnie Blakely was apparently a real scummy woman and not likable at all. That shouldn't be important but it appears to be.

I wasn't surprised that he was acquitted.

A part of me feels that he hired someone to do the dirty work for him. A large part of that being that he had to go back to the restaurant to get his gun that he forgot. If you're a gun carrying type of person, you always know where your gun is, at all times. It's not something that you lose track of or forget and leave it behind and if you are that type of person then you shouldn't be allowed to carry a gun on your person. That and the gun that was used in the shooting being found nearby, wiped of all prints... it appears to be a crime that was worked out on his end. He has to leave to get his gun, so it shows he was not around and had no gun, comes back, she's been shot. The murder weapon was then found nearby and wiped of all prints so that the police have the murder weapon.
