I assume you're using iTunes? You go into the iTunes Preferences (in the bold iTunes menu at the top left of the screen when iTunes is open), click on the 'burning' tab, and select 'data'.

On Macs, this sort of thing can almost always be accomplished from the Preferences menu. thumbs up!

For the record, my major bitch about iBooks is that they don't ship with enough RAM. It's more likely to be that than a full hard drive if you haven't added more than the 256 (omfg) it probably came with.

Whatever you buy from Apple, double the RAM. Third party RAM is often loads cheaper than Apple RAM. If you consider buying a Mac Mini remember it's difficult to replace RAM yourself.

Get a mac. Really. Not a decision that is often regretted.

iBook is a laptop. iTunes is the program. nod

I adore my iBook, but do upgrade the RAM.

Third party RAM is much cheaper. However, I'll tell you that my husband repairs Macs for a living, and he said that the Apple RAM rarely causes any problems, and the third party stuff often does. He's planning to buy third party for our machines, but he knows how to recognize RAM problems.

That's a fab machine, yes. . .I definately like the 12 inch, for the record. . .but I'd still add RAM.

What you should do is go into an Apple store (check the site for a store locator) and talk to one of the Mac Geniuses there about it, and actually play with the machines. It's free, and they won't sell you more than you need.

Only if there is an open WiFi network near the bus stop. It's great, but not quite magic. wink

Too bad there's no store near you, but let me assure you that they are as lovely in person as on the website.
