So I started the playoffs in my basketball league today.. We won!!!  Next week 2 more games and we will be champs! Im proud of our team...We had to play in a different bracket against not so much "better" comp but taller comp....The first team we beat the hell out of and they came in with like only 3 losses in their division...the next team was 2nd in their division with one loss (and that loss was by forfeit cause of prior engagements) I used to play with this teams star player....he is very good...we call him "Big Fundamentals" Cause he is a very solid B-ball player and makes few mistakes... To add to the drama they were all 6'4 and taller (our team is average 5'10 and lower except for me im 6'4) And they were all good shooters....Im also nursing a strained shoulder I got on Monday that hurts like hell....I have trouble raising my left arm after a while...
Sooo we beat this team to advance to next week! I had to cowboy the fuck up and play my ass off to win cause we had drama! First my boy Lonnie got kicked out BEFORE THE GAME for profanity...  he is a fool sometimes.....Then with 4 mins left to go and with a comfortable lead of 10, my other hommie Dennis fouled out leaving us with no other choice but to play 4 players against 3! Against a sorry team this is no problem but these cats were like ex-college and semi pro guys...So we ended up holding on to win the game 46 to 44 and I dropped 32 of the 46 points and now my shoulder feels like it wants to fall off!
So I just was so excited to win that game I just wanted to share it with ya'll and of course I took a few pics (would have took more but my camera is a piece of crap!!  )

That's cool Dre. Makes me miss playing basketball.
I once went to a local school here with the idea of helping out with coaching and playing a few games with them. The kids were 15 and 16 year olds, but what I didn't realise was that basketball is popular here and the school is one of the best in the country for sports. I hadn't played in a couple of years and these young pups ran me ragged. Had to guard a 6 ft 5 sixteen year old who plays internationally and it was embarrassing not being able to compete physically.
