Just relaaaaaaaaax

Any tips on how your mind aswell as your body can relax more? I think I've learnt how to relax more and to not be too pent up about things. However, as a person I feel I find it difficult to relax and not take life too seriously. But is there anyway one can learn to relax rather than through sheer human trial and error?

If I'm really stressed about something I generally call a friend to vent. Or if I don't feel like venting I might go for a long walk by myself. Or sometimes I just completely shut myself down and sleep for hours.

Massage/body work in a quiet, soothing environment

Put yourself exclusively around those who love you and soak up the vibes

Cry until exhausted(which can be a surprisingly short amount of time!)

Exercise or do something you're good at, something repetitive, where your brain and body are on "autopilot" and you're "in the zone"

This might help-
Put a hot candy like a fireball in your mouth and just let your thoughts about it pass through your mind without making any judgements about them,
Just cocentrate on the candy and be in the moment.
This can clear your thoughts and settle your nerves.
If you don't like hot candy then try sour candy.
