ok as a few know around here, me and my husband are coming to LA in two weeks

so this holiday is already being an expensive one although some family members think it's cheaper since the dollar is less worth now compared to the euro

yesterday evening i got a call that my husband and son we're involved in a finite car accident

they're both fine (thk the Lord) but still we have severe damage at the car

the holiday is still on, it's just a shity situation since we don't know who's the one that caused the accident and we most likely have to pay for the damage ourselves

anyone else has some shitty experiences with car accidents?

I've been lucky! I had a truck slam in to me, last year, and wiped out the side of my car. I just got a bump on the head. Lucky I've got a really good car to brace the impact.
I hope you guys get it worked out sooner then later for you sake.

I'm so sorry to hear that petra, at least everyone is safe something to be thankful for but the timing is terrible i agree lets hope you can get someone else to pay for you
My one car is currently being held together with tape the accident wasn't my fault but the other person had no insurence and i already claimed on mine once too often

Thx Alli and p0p... I think I just have to be grateful that things are not that worse and that they both are fine healt whise

I'm sorry to hear that, hun...

However, an accident before a big trip could be good luck...lol..I had a HUGE accident before I flew to Australia...and I mean, like 6 hours before my plane was scheduled to take off.

Was just finishing up my photo route, and got blindsided by a car that was going way too fast...luckily I was driving a rental (my car was in the shop), so it got replaced...but it was literally hours before my plane left...but the trip itself turned out fantastic in more ways than I could begin to imagine.

So take it as a good omen..lol
