eBay shysters!

I just can't believe it... am appealing an "unpaid item dispute" for a set of Emancipation CDs...

And the seller has already CASHED MY CHECK! eek

Can anyone be this stupid?

lol

Of course I'm sending the evidence to ebay.

I just can't believe anyone would do anything this obviously shysterish... she must think that she can get away with this, because I'm overseas. rolleyes

lol I can't stop laughing...

That is proper snidey. I sent a cheque off for an item and didnt get anything in return. At the moment, Im waiting for a response on a t-shirt. I asked the seller if they could send me details so I could send a cheque but no reply.

It winds me up when they give you a negative mark and say you're a bad buyer if your cheque gets lost too!

Hey thanks...

That's why all sellers should work with PAYPAL!! Or the like. This one doesn't.

Well, I've sent the complaint (by email and letter) but truth be told, I'm a bit nervous about this situation because I've never had a dispute with a seller before - and my feedback is 100% good. I don't want that wrecked because of a crook...

My story is somewhat similar but entirely different at the same time. I made someone feel guilty because it took me ages to get round to paying for a bootleg DVD. I did eventually pay for and receive the item. However, at the same time, because I was so angry that he had given me a negative comment, I threatened to complain to Ebay that he was selling illegal DVDs. giggle

Good transaction - speedy payment.
Seller cellophane_chest ( 21) 19-Feb-04 10:12 2594068017

TIMEWASTER!! Bid for item, then didn't pay. No comms. My advice: DO NOT DEAL!!

Yes he did. Although I cringed when I sent it because I though he'd turn round and tell me to stop being a big baby. Which I was being really.

I just don't like newbies who bid on something and then send u an e-mail after asking loads of silly questions they should've asked before the listing ended. Either that or they say their gf or bf bought something similar and they didn't realise and can they now cancel. File a non-paying bidder alert, take your fees, leave negative feedback. Only way to learn 'em. evillol

Also, if no refund policy is detailed in the listing, that means u will not be getting a refund. Sure, u can send the item back if u like though. Sellers will be more than happy to relist the item.

0 feedback = watch out! It's a NEWBIE
Unverified address = no leg to stand on if item does not arrive. evillol
Buyer leaves feedback before receiving item = happy, happy, happy!

I'm having a problem for the first time after 30+ experiences!

But I kind of bid against my better judgement... This chick had something like 4 or 5% bad feedback, and now I see it's more or less because she's a pain in the eek

UPDATE:

Received email responses from seller, who appears to be a bit of a moron; that might be her only problem. rolleyes

She's some chick selling CDs out of an apartment in Long Beach. As it turns out, she seems to have cashed my check without even knowing from whence it came!!

After all my explanations (that she apparently never read). What a dunce.
