Never stay there. Ever. It's horrible. I'll post pictures later, but it was horrible. We had this icky brown stain on the wall. So gross.

I like staying at the Imperial Palace.. Not the most expensive, but they treat a person so nice....

It was so nasty. We weren't even in the towers. We were in "The Manor" which is basically like a Motel 6....it was so crappy. They have an RV park and crap too....terrible.

Dont like to stay at Circus Circus or Luxor.....both dirty and even the non-smoking rooms smell like someone os sitting in your room with you smoking a cigar.....nasty!!

It just struck me as funny with all the other high class hotels in Vegas, you got stuck at Circus Circus.

OH. MY. GOD. I was there the weekend before you. It was a last minute trip to meet up with my sister and her family. Room rates were high everywhere. I ended up at Circus Circus, where my sister was also, maily because it was $29.95 on Sunday night as opposed to $150 anywhere else. I was SUPPOSED to be in the dirty Manor as well, but they were out of non-smoking rooms, so I got moved to the Tower. THANK GOD!!!! I too, have always been at MGM, New York, New York, Aladdin... Hadn't been in Circus Circus since I was about 12. Yucky-poo-poo for sure!

BTW, Ka, the latest Cirque de Soleil show, is AWESOME. WOW!!!!

Treasure Island at the Mirage is a great hotel at a great Price.


Vegas is a neat city--plastic as hell, but upbeat and fun.
The night clubs are fun too.

You can get a gamblers rate at most casinos. Basically, they let you stay there dirt cheap as long as you show that youre gambling at their casino each day. I stayed at stardust for a week and it was under 300 dollars.

As for Circus Circus, its a dump, but that indoor coaster was fun!

The Tropicana sucks too.

I like Hard Rock. It's the pool.

Someone we know is a travel agent, and we went to him to get the tickets. He's the one that pointed out this "gamblers rate" deal. I don't know how upfront casinos are about it. Alot of casinos have cards you can get that you put into the slot machines every time you play, and you earn points every time you gamble. You can then later redeem those points for various things like discounted rates on rooms, etc. Its like a bonus card at a grocery store.

The travel agent wasnt clear on how they would keep track of my gambling there, but in good faith, I got one of the Startdust cards, and gambled about 50 bucks a day in the machines (which I would have done anyway). Now I get mailers from them all the time offering me free nights there, or pay one night, get the next one free, etc...

Of course Circus Circus is horrible. It has evil clowns everywhere!! ICKY!!!
