- anyone watch it last night

i admittedly liked this show --- but i havent watched too much lately ...

i watched some of it ... like half ... they had to come up with an ad campaign for "dove" (is it lotion ... or soap rinse ???) ....

anyhow ...donny deutch (spelling?) was on again ... and i watched the 2 ad campaign commercials ... and was like

so was he (which makes me feel good cause he is supposed to be mr marketing ad guru !!! )

they both sucked !!! arent these supposed to be the best and the brightest !!!???

so they all came back to the boardroom !~!!!

I can't believe either of the ads. It almost makes me think they screwed up on purpose but I can't figure out why. Other than maybe (maybe) they were told to be really bad so that people would talk about it and create buzz. They were just so bad...

They may be best and brightest in some areas, but I don't think any of them come from an advertising background. Coming up with a fresh marketing idea and putting it all together in a short time frame isn't easy. They both had somewhat clever ideas, but they weren't original, and they were executed HORRIBLY.

I think the marathon theme one would have come off great had it played out the way the guys thought of with the humor...

I was bothered by this episode. I agree that both ads were AWFUL and stupid.

However, there seemed to be a big thread of homophobia running through the episode. That attitude was tempered by many of the teammates, but allowed by Donald and co. I was NOT impressed.

Those commercials sucked SOOOOO bad!
