I'm curious as to why my thread was deleted twice;there were no replies on the thread, was not offensive, or any 'graphic' pics in it??? I wasn't even sent an orgnote as to why? Can a moderator answer that question for me?

I understand that my question, in itself meant to be funny, can be read as me trying to be racist and pushing a racist issue.

Even though my question is valid, now I think of it. What makes a Black person-thread NOT racist, but a White person thread seems racist immediately?

Is it cuz I think all colors are equal in my eyes? Interesting topic. But WRONG FORUM!

In the U.S., all colors are NOT treated equally. Institutional racism still reigns. So it isn't that threads about white people are automatically racist and thread about black people automatically aren't. (That's an example of an oversimplified complaint that white racists use all the time.) Because institutional racism is still so pervasive here, it remains necessary to openly acknowledge the contributions of people of color, as they are still routinely buried.
