I have no faith in Darwinism anymore. How can the proliferation of stupid people be explained if "Survival of the Fittest" is in fact true?

There are stupid rich people. Stupid politicians. Stupid powerful CEO people. Stupid people who get called geniuses. Yet I know tons of wonderful, brilliant, insightful, smart people who have trouble rubbing two pennies together. What gives?

Example: BRITNEY GODDAMN SPEARS.

OH! And why are most people in managerial/supervisory positions stupid? It's like you have to be stupid to even get the job. They should just come out and ask in the job interview:

"Can you motivate others?"

"Durrrrh..."

"Okay, scratch that...are you a complete idiot?"

"YES!!!"

"HIRED!!!"


I don't get it. I need someone to break it down for me. I don't have a firm grasp on the stupid people community.

It's like stupid is the new black or something. i.e Paris, Nicole, Lidnsey, Jessica, Nick, the Baldwins, Meg Ryan, Madonna (she even has a song about it). Just a blank stare and a tee-hee, they give you a million bucks or a record contract.

Anx, don't sweat it - God looks out for the feeble-minded, and that's a good thing. maybe they will be too busy making pop music or running the local Blockbuster to procreate. (a few do fall through the cracks, but hey, can't change the world overnight!)
