Don't do more than an hours worth of working out or aerobics. You'll start burning muscle after the first hour. Peace. Good night. oh really? I'll keep that in mind thanks again It's also very bad for the immune system.

Whenever I want to take off a few pounds, I just eat oatmeal for breakfast and lunch, then cook dinner when I get home (no fast food). I'll eat a yogurt at some point during the day as a snack. The oatmeal is boring but I snazz it up with dried cranberries, or walnuts, or banannas, honey, etc... It tastes way better than those pre-flavored ones. Then 30 min of some kind of exercise each night, usually while I'm watching TV, which I do anyway.

It can be! And people with that issue often aren't treated any better than people trying to lose weight. . . it's treated like a joke. That is so true. People say to the person who can't gain weight: "Well, I wish I had that problem!" and roll their eyes or something. I've recently lost about 25 pounds and have about 35 more to go to get to my goal weight. I don't eat much at all, just tuna, a piece of fruit and water for lunch, and a HUGE salad for dinner. I make sure that I drink about 6-8 eight ounce glasses of water per day. I noticed a big difference when I started drinking more water, the weight seems to drop off quicker, probably because I'm flushing all fats and toxins out of my body. I also need to start exercising, that will really get the weight off quicker. Being between jobs right now, money has been tight, but as soon as that changes, I definitely will hit the gym every day to start walking and weight training. Good luck to you, Natisse, on your weight loss. It takes a lot of willpower and persistance, but I know you can do it, just take it one day at a time. If you need support, I'm here for you. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Don't forget those people that want to put on weight. It is just as hard to gain weight as to lose weight

Good luck Natisse and Dew...it's hard losing weight. I suggest adding green tea to your diet. If you drink 2-3 cups a day it'll help you lose weight and not to mention it's great for you. It's loaded with antioxidants. I didn't change my eating habits or exercise more and I lost 6 pounds in month. I know it's not much but I was estactic!!

Hi Natisse,
good luck on losing the weight. It's all about reprogramming your habits and COOKING. That's my downfall. I always eat out. I yo-yo a lot. Right now I'm a little heavy but I plan to lose about 20 pounds, what is that 10kg? The funny thing is that I know exactly how to lose it, I just don't. I'm lazy. I hate to blow everybody's bubble but the real secret to losing weight is diet and exercise. Because of all of the pills and diets that have been promoted on t.v. people have lost site of the real way to do it. Remember diet doesn't mean starve, it means eat healthier. Yeah, some pills work. A couple gave me high blood pressure though. Also, pills are a temporary solution to the real problem. Miguel MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! Why not just discuss those things GD ?! Because these kinds of threads about physical, mental or sexual health always get littered with jokey replies like some of the ones above.
