I'm getting a bass clef . . . not sure if I should do the nape or the wrist.

Any suggestions?

Yeah I already have my lower back back (one and only) but I think I'm going to end up going for my nape.

IMHO a bass clef would look better on the nape. (Admittedly, I'm somewhat biased, as my tattoo has the same placement.) Just make sure the size is right... I'd suggest having someone measure the width of your nape and sizing the tattoo accordingly so it "fits" the body.

BTW, unless you have short hair, your ink won't be visible unless you wear your hair up. Maybe you want it visible, maybe you don't, and maybe you like the idea of a tattoo that's both easy to show off and easy to hide... just something to consider.

In any event, post a pic once you've had it done.

To paraphrase Kevin Spacey, "The tattoo I've always wanted and now I have it. I rule!!"

I think a bass on one wrist and a treble on the other would be cool.

But for just the bass, I'd do the nape.

This ain't getting any easier! I was thinking of inner wrist initially and maybe get the treble clef on my right wrist later on . . . but I think nape is maybe the best choice bet for symmetry reasons.
