I cried when i watched gorilla's in the mist (it is called that isn't it) so terrible how a human can find a dismembered hand a gorgeous ash tray and not appreciate the true beauty of the animal  | |

Um... I've never really had much of an opinion on gorillas.

They make me kind of sad. Not just gorillas but animals in general, but primates as so similar to us it is more so.
Just sad cos they are so close to us but we can't talk with them, never quite tell if they know what is going on...Never take them down the pub and have a pint and a natter. I think I am going insane  | |

They are my favorite animal. So beautiful and dignified. The mortality rate for immature gorillas under six years of age is over 40% and the risks are highest during the first year. Fighting silverbacks, predation, injury, and disease are all serious threats to youngsters that lessen as the apes reach maturity. By poaching them we are only adding to the statistics. | |
