So, I just killed my car trying to start it in this freezing ass weather

Dammit, we've had the coldest freaking two weeks, with no break whatsoever. Yesterday it reached -34 Celsius (about -30 F), today it drops below -30 once again. I couldn't even start my car today, even though I plugged in the block heater. mad I kept turning the ignition until the battery died, dammit!!!

Now I'm going to get to work late today (waiting for someone to pick me up), which costs me money, in addition to the money I have to pay to park downtown in heated parking when my car IS working, This weather freaking sucks nuts. I have no clue how I became Canadian, because I hate this cold ass weather. Particularly when we get ungodly deep freeze streaks like this which we cannot escape.

End rant.

My key barely turned in the lock and my wipers just sort of meandered along, even on high speed.

Well, I was able to unlock the passenger door and unlock the driver door from there. Then when I got in I just sat there with my finger on the windshield solvent button until the wipers got unstuck lol

Thanks all! smile Your sympathy has warmed me up today.

And, for the record, this is FAR from normal. Normals for this time of year are in the region of 25 FA. Still cold, but, nothing like this. sad

Good thing my roommate has an AMA membership (like AAA). They'll start my car up.
