Stevie Wonder would've known that! (I'm sure Ray Charles would've known, too!)

That's one movie that I've been meaning to see. pout It's ok, though. I probably would've figured it out too.

"Secrets and Lies" had some very good twists. It's a drama that probably isn't available in all video stores but is worth hunting down for a rental. It's never been out on DVD, which is a sin.

I just watched "Saw" last night. And I have to say, I almost fell off the couch when that guy got up off the floor at the end of the movie...

Also, "Frailty" had a pretty disturbing twist at the end...

I'm probably the guiltiest of this here. Sorry, Vinny.

I agree with all of yours, with the exception of The Village, which I just plain hated. I thought the twist at the end was just a twist for the sake of havign one.

NO. I AM YOUR FATHER.

What do you guys and gals consider the best twists in cinematic history.

For me, Darth Vader's revelation to Luke Skywalker in The Empire Strikes Back ranks among them. Unfortunately, I saw it coming since I saw Return of the Jedi before ESB so the twist in the plot was not as profound as it should have been.

And what of the plot turns in M. Night Shyamalan's films such as The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable - where do those rate?

Let's hear your recommendations because movie-wise I have a lot of catching up to do!

ESB still is the greatest bombshell, since NO ONE who saw it in the original theatrical run could've seen that coming.

I dug the Sixth Sense. Cool twist that I SHOULD have seen coming, but didn't.

Unbreakable is my favorite of Shyamalan's films. The twist was sooooo perfect!

WAS THERE A TWIST IN BURTON'S REMAKE?

If not, what did he do to try to top the original?

I kinda liked it. The twist wasn't a major shocker, but I loved the concept behind it.
