Best Twist in a Film?

NO. I AM YOUR FATHER.

What do you guys and gals consider the best twists in cinematic history.

For me, Darth Vader's revelation to Luke Skywalker in The Empire Strikes Back ranks among them. Unfortunately, I saw it coming since I saw Return of the Jedi before ESB so the twist in the plot was not as profound as it should have been.

And what of the plot turns in M. Night Shyamalan's films such as The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable - where do those rate?

Let's hear your recommendations because movie-wise I have a lot of catching up to do!

barton fink...cuz it goes along like a nice little quirky retro artsy film, and then at the end...it gets DARK.

The 6th sense would've been a good twist if only someone hadn't told me the ending....that and The Others sad Along Came a Spider was pretty good....with a good twist.
