That photo of Johns glass with the blood on it, she released just after his death, I first thought was icky.....but I now think is a brillient photo.

nod Such a striking image. The album is also a powerful, harrowing listen, but whatever you think of the music it's definetely one of the greatest covers ever.

I can't seem to find any good pictures, but Yoko's conceptual art is mindblowingly good. Deceptively minimalist zen meditations for the modern era. Read her book Grapefruit, I swear you won't regret it.

I completely agree that her early albums (Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band, Fly) at times barely qualify as singing. What it is is punk music, much hardercore and interesting than anything the glorified manufactured boyband the Sex Pistols did, six years before the supposed "punk revolution" of 1976. nod
