excuse me but the line where they're glued onto your fingers is visible there. not to mention that 'pearly' plastic look. sorry but they look fake imo, either that or they're the 'french-tipped' nails. if they were real, your cuticles would be visible [Edited 1/4/05 10:35am]

My nails always chip and break so I have to keep them short. I've mastered the french manicure finally so that's what I have all the time. It's the only thing that looks good on my pathetic nails!
The dolphins are nice! | |

The dolphins are nice! Yeah I wanted to spice up the French a bit but I didn't want anything to crazy. I found getting the Gels helped to let my nails grow cause once the tips grow out and get filed away the gel helps make them stong and they don't break easily. My hands get such a beating at work too so this way I can still do pretty things with them.

And the shiny look comes from the top coat that they use to protect the polish and the airbrushed dolphins. You have the right to your opinion and if you thnk they look fake so be it but why do you care to make an issue of it?? If I had gone and spent money on a manicure and the cuticles were really noticable I would want my money back cause the manicurist wouldn't have done her job.

A French manicure is where there is traditionaly a white coat put alonf the tips of the nails...mine without the dolphins. I wouldn't put tips back on my nails if you paid me to.
I had them for years, and finally got them taken off for good. You would not believe how brittle my nails STILL are, and I got them taken off six months ago. If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't have done it.

Oh, they're real??? Ooops, hehehehe. Anywhoos, are they real with acrylic on them? I just get regular manicures now, but with very light color, because it tends to chip so easily. I can't type with the tips anymore.
