When I'm on holiday I always refuse to shave everyday, sometimes I let it go for over a week and grow a holiday beard.

I had a pretty full beard a few days ago but have now shaved it don to a neat little chin goatee. I quite like it but my wife is not all that happy

Does anyone else like to grow a holiday beard?

i like to keep a holiday beard over the holidays, but i don't think my family is convinced she's my wife since it's a different woman every year.

I tried that once! It took me 3 weeks before something resembling a beard sprouted on my face!!!
And then I discovered I had bald spots on the side of my face! #^*%#^#

personally i find waxing the beard, then decorating it with seasonal ornaments (i.e. little lights for christmas, little skeletons for halloween and eggs for easter), keeps me in a festive mood

I used to shave, but that was when I was working. Since I retired I haven't bothered, so my beard is about 13ft long. U get used to it.
