Your signature is from Bill Watterson, of Calvin And Hobbes fame.

Hobbes was based largely on one of Watterson's cats and when that cat died he drew ana amazing cartoon about saying goodbye.

[looked it up; "Our cat Sprite was often a model for Hobbes, both in looks and personality. When she died, I drew this cartoon. We can always meet again in dreams." Too bad I can't find the cartoon online]
