The greatest things about coming here is bumping into people who know lots about OTHER things. Like Gangstafam's 'gotta have it all'-(and 'know it all')
mentality. People like him make me look further than just mainstream music and makes me want to find out more for myself. To him I owe my expanded Joy Division, Bjork, Cure and Tori Amos collections...

Aawww. hug

Glad I could inspire you with my obsessive/addictive personality. lol

Yup. Had to go out of town to get it, but I like what I'm hearing. Very fitting for this year.

The appropriate use and application of restraints, baking, Choctaw Indians/Slavery,New Orleans circa 1890's and my affinity to attract the wrong types of men.

I think that covers about all I know! thumbs up!

I have a wealth of information on programming.

What do you mean by electronic music ? Examples ?

Electronic Music? I can pretty much discuss the history of a lot of it. I come from Chicago, and know a lot about house music. I am now a downtempo/chill dj...so I know a lot about that too. Used to be a trance freek...and so theres that. I can tell you whats good and whats not and what's being touted as cutting edge. My favorite Elecrtonic "groups" are

The Orb
Shpongle
Banco De Gaia
Freaky Chakra
OTT
Shulman
Enthiogenic
Fantastic Plastic machine
Baby Mammoth
Dzamien & Kamien
Kraftwerk
Art of Noise
a bazillion more..

And then more mainstream...

BT
Chem Bros
Orbital
Towa Tei
Bjork
Babble
Lemon Jelly
Air
DJ Spooky
DJ Shadow

Your from Chi?... biggrin
