In the Bay Area... WE MET!!! Any recommendations????
The plus side of being unemployed is extended vacations. Rather than Wed - Sun for Thanksgiving, I've got the whole week up here. Last time I was in the area was earlier this year for Prince's Valentine Fillmore show. Any suggestions for passing the day whilst my compatriots are slaves 2 the system???? I'm there! SOS mentioned you were coming up and suggested that we all get drinks...I'm down for whatever!
As far as checking stuff out, you could walk the Berkeley campus....or, BART over to SF and check out the Palace of Fine Arts, Golden Gate Park, Fisherman's Wharf, you could walk around China Town..... | |

Barnes and Noble is in El Cerrito Plaza, the best wrecka store is in Berkelely, (Rasputins) and theres food a-plenty around the area. Try Solano Blvd in Albany for quaint little spots with great food! For movies just check the local listings or use my favorite 777-FILM!!!
