Ju-On was better than Ringu This is a fact.

I went out of town 2 days ago to see this. I saw an ad in the paper at a small indie theatre. I saw the American remake and really liked it. And I loved Ringu. But once I got there, they said it hadn't been playing for over 2 weeks. wtf!? Know when it's coming out on video? | |

Saw the Grudge in the theaters and thought it was a great story and kinda freaked me out. Rented Ju-on tonight and didn't like the story as much...but the images...STILL gave me the chills. I will do today what you won't, so tomorrow I can do what you can't. | |

Ju-On is awesome, the American Remake forced me to seek out the original.i'm totally in love with Japanese horror. i'd also recommend 'Audition', 'Itchi the Killer' and of course the Ringu series.
Ju-On is more complex than i realised, there's lots of strange time lines in it and is not as straight-forward as you think. anyway check out http://p209.ezboard.com/bjuonthegrudge. there's a fair bit of info explaining various things about Ju-On. |
