Frozen Turkey Attack! This is a really disturbing story...
(11/18/04) LAKE RONKONKOMA (Long Island, NY) - A Lake Ronkonkoma woman is in critical condition after a 20-pound frozen turkey smashed through the windshield of her moving car. Police say the incident happened at about 12:40 a.m. Saturday, when the turkey was tossed out the window of an oncoming car on Portion Road in Ronkonkoma. The passenger in the woman's car took hold of the steering wheel and guided the car to the side of the road, say police. The 44 year-old-woman was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital where she is listed in critical condition. Her sister says the woman suffers from a broken nose, broken top jaw and fractured lower jaw. Police say a group of seven teenagers bought the turkey using a stolen credit card at a Waldbaum’s supermarket on Portion Road. They say their investigation is moving in a very positive direction in finding the teens.  I've seen this story over and over on Fox News today but did not catch that it was Lake Ronkonkoma!!
My stepdad's elderly mom lives there! I was ticked about the story to begin with! What a stupid, hateful prank! I also hope they catch all the tools that did it and throw the book at them and I also hope the lady that was injured recovers quickly. If it had been my granny driving it probably would have killed her. There's one blessing today. I'm firmly planted in denial |

They're a bunch of spoiled, troublemaking, suburban brats that need to be beaten with a very big stick. The one who actually threw the turkey is a freakin' COLLEGE STUDENT!!!! WTF?!?!?
