mattj	Thanksgiving question Hi (daft question from a brit) Friends of mine are in NY on Thanksgiving as its a public holiday will shops transport etc be closed

endorphin74	I'm not in NYC,but... I know in MPLS the only things open on Tday are bars, restaraunts, movie theaters and K-Mart.

CarrieLee	Some stores will probably be closed but I don't think everything will be. It's NYC! And they never stop public transportation so don't worry about that.
