.....your Thanxgiving menus this year? Having the traditional bird and bread, or otherwise? My people and I are fixin the usual: smoked turkey, ham, turnip & mustard greens, lima beans, dressing, mac-n-cheese, cranberry sauce, cornbread, and some dessert (I don't know bout that one), and my mom INSISTS that she make chitterlings ("chitlins").

But anywho, whatcha havin?

I'll be having lamb curry, potato curry, lentil curry, rice and beer.

Ahh, the usual.....

beer and bird.

Red Velvet cake, mac & cheese, cabbage, ham, turkey, cranberry sauce, corn bread, pinto beans, pecan pie, german chocolate, dressing and gravy. And some other mess. This is just what I have a taste for and what I plan on cooking.

i'm gonna make a big ol' batch of kasha varnishkes w/ mushroom gravy for thanksgiving this year, and i'm bringing home some fancy schmancy cranberry sauce from trader joe's...other than that, who knows what'll be on the table. i think my ma's gonna make some banana pudding, though....
