This Picture Moves Me To Tears! Found this really beautiful picture of a Sleeping Billie Holiday while I was browsing:
This pic speaks high volume for it self. Its So dramatic I don't know what to say, it really moved me when I saw it. If I didn't know who she was, I would look at this pic and say this broad had enough more than her share!!! [Edited 11/15/04 13:13pm] | |

Anyone person that has witnessed a lynching and survived that experience would look like her she has the world on her shoulders. It is hard to watch a person that looks like you being tortured. Not to mention that at any moment it could happen to you! I remembering being in the south during the seventies and folks were still coming up missing. Her song Strange Fruit messes me up every time.
