Turkey and Gravy Soda -- I heard that was a gimmick and not real. Now this.
On the flip side, I once had to, when I turned 13, drink my birthday cake. How you ask? Ealier in June 1983 I went out for recreation baseball and thought it was softball. I am left-handed and the pitcher was right-handed and did not know how to throw across the plate to a left-handed batter. First pick-up practice of the season. You see where this is going. ... I got hit in my right cheek area, fell down and unconscious, awoke and rode my bike home. Went to hospital for x-rays and later on to a specialist who deals with oral surgery. I broke my jaw. I was shy of my 13th birthday. My jaw was wired shut for 6-7 weeks. Birthday came and my parents got a cake and sliced a few pieces and stuck them in the blender. So, I drank my birthday cake. I got razzed before my last year of elementary school by some classmates at a city fair. They saw me drinking a "legitimate" milk shake and said I was instead drinking a steak and mashed potatoes. I hope I never have to go through that again. Lost over 30 pounds over the summer and had to mix weightlifting protien supplements in order for me not to get dizzy.

Yeah, it is a neat packaging idea. I can't imagine that the reason they're selling out so quickly is because they taste great. It's gotta be because people are buying them to save... or something. I dunno... I don't think I could bring myself to take a taste.

As for the birthday cake - did it taste okay? I mean... was it difficult to drink knowing that it was put into the blender? Hmm... you know, I never bought baby food for my kids. I'd make spaghetti or whatever and then puree it and feed it to them. It must be a case of as we get older it's the thought of food that was once solid then being turned to liquid that's repulsive.... perhaps these sodas are yummy! (Still not gonna try it though).

As for the birthday cake - did it taste okay? I mean... was it difficult to drink knowing that it was put into the blender? Yeah, about a week earlier I got a cast off my left hand because I was in a fight with a guy in school (long story, long fight) and less than a week later I was back with the doctors for another injury time out. As for the birthday cake it was not that mushy and drinkable in a way. Needed water or milk to soften the "cake." It was all right but wish it was more like a milkshake. And to top it off saw the Cleveland Indians play on my birthday and No. 13 Juan Eichelberger pitched and lost the game for the Tribe. Just wasn't my day or my month or my summer. And now, talk to applekisses, I love to talk and talk and talk. It's the post-jawbraker curse!

Having your jaw wired shut for seven weeks would probably turn anyone into a talker!

I don't know to me I think they are all pretty repulsive.
