Benny Hill Benny Hill is a legend.
Does England recognize a special day in his honor? Any museums or anything? I grew up watching his show. What a man.

Thanks for the cute pictures!
Ahhh, Benny..... I used to watch it with my Dad too. My Mom would walk through the livingroom, rolling her eyes in disgust. I was only like 8 ! My Dad would practically sit me down, like it was MUST SEE TV or something. God I love him for that. It's the same reason I "pretend" not to know when my kids are watching South Park. The comedic value just overrides the fact that it is so inappropriate.

Benny Rocked!!! Nothing on television today can match the combination of bawdy British humor and the Hill's Angels Dancers!
Madame Tussaud's in NYC has a wax figure of Benny (as Fred Scuttle) in the lobby where you purchase tickets. It was so lifelike, it was amazing (as is all of their work).

The Benny Hill Show was SO campy, and tasteless.... I LOVED IT!
Remember those cheesy stunts? Like someone would fall off a roof or something (it was CLEARLY a dummy) hit the ground then (crappy edit) be up and running again. It was funny how the action was always sped up like when Benny patted "Li'll" Jackie Wright's head, and all the running back and forth. And Benny was always the freak/dirty old man when it came to the ladies. The Paul Hogan show also aired. And I can't remember this other guy's name, but I think he was British and he was missing a thumb! But Benny Hill rocked the best in my book!
