Richard Pryor..A great comic who is very sick!!!

I came across this photo of Richard....I grew up with this Brutha, he is like one of those crazy uncles at the family picnic. When I saw his condition it almost brought me to tears!!!

sigh

That is so sad. sad

I had a friend die from MS and my friend's sister has it...she's doing very well, thank GOD, but, it's hard to see what it can do to a person.
You know...both of these ladies are African-American too...does it hit more of the African-American population than it does any other ethnicities?

Richard's been hanging in there for quite a while-I wish him nothing but the best health, but if he's suffering, I wish him peace.

The man is a comedic master-a genius force to only be reckoned with. I hope tabloids don't exploit the man's condition, and if they have, they'll get what they deserve.

My best to Mr. Pryor.

cry How unfortunate! A friend of mine lost her mom to MS, she was very, very sick the last few years of her life, and was bedridden.

Also, another friend of mine had a sister who had MS, and she died at a relatively young age (I think she was only in her 20's or 30's when she died).

One of these women was white, and the other was Latino, so I'm not sure if the disease strikes any ethnic group more than it does another. MS is such a terrible disease, I wish they could find a cure for it. sad
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

he's been in bad shape for quite a long time. he had a cameo in david lynch's "lost highway" which made me really uncomfortable, because he was clearly terribly stricken with MS, but i think Pryor was completely aware of how he would come off on screen and wanted to confront people with it...not to mention I'm guessing he's probably a Lynch fan.

Oh my goodness!! I didn't even know he had MS! I absolutely love Richard Pryor, he is arguably one of the greatest comedians of all time, and Brewster's Millions is one of my favourite movies of all time.

My mom has MS, but we're extremely fortunate because it's an ultra-rare form that doesn't affect her much. She has to take some mild medication and she's sometimes more tired than other people, but that's it.

It's sad to see Richard suffering. sad I wish he could make the world laugh again, because that's what everyone needs.

Richard had Stated " God gave me this MS to save my life" its sad to see Richard be in the state he is in, but His wife is taking very very good care of him, and when his time comes to leave this plane, all of us who he inspired.will have a piece of him still around.

You never wish to see anyone suffer....WELL MAYBE GEORGE W. BUSH!...AHEM...but I absolutely love Richard Pryor and having grown up with his humor and wit!! He is a great talent that will be missed greatly!! There are so many ways in which we depart; I'm sure he is just happy to know that all this love for him exists!!

This is sad but it proves that we should be more thankful about our lives, no matter how bad we think they are. They could always be worse.

My girlfriend Mary has ms..

She was a successful brilliant business, woman making tons of money.. One day MS struck her. It debilitated her..

We would be out and about, and out of nowhere her legs would go out.. Luckily for me she was small so I could carry her to the car.

She now lives in an assisted living home, with very limited use of her body.. Sad thing is that she doesn't want any visitors.. That is her wish. sad
