All I gotta say to those pics and story is DAMN! When I was a kid growing up in Minnesota, we spent most of our summer's up north around Bemidji. We owned a lot of land up there, so even as 7, 8, and 9 year olds we would walk through these untamed forests and rangesby ourselves.... one time we were walking down what was called a fireline, which basically is a clearing between wooded areas to control forest fires. While walking down this fireline, my mom noticed we were being tracked by a grizzly bear in the woods... we were taught not no run, but he never came out... he just followed us for like a mile from about 50 yards away... scary shit... you would never be able to get away from him.....

In those same woods, and looking back, I can't imagine how my parents let us run through those areas, but we had a lot of VERY close calls..... I have been wraned off by a VERY pissed of badger.... never FUCK with a badger..... rattle snakes, a wolf, porcupines, wild dogs, some rather large deer, and the list goes on and on.... had a guy take a shot at me with his shotgun through some trees once, because he thought I was an animal..... what a life I led....
