Post-Cards For Kids - Pen-Pal

Since Teacher started the whole postcard exchange, which was a much better idea than the loons tee-shirt exchange, and Muse started the postcards to her son... well, why don't we let our kids send them to one another? We all seem to be enjoying this, why not get the kids involved in writing/sending one to one another.

I used to have pen-pals when I was my sons age, I think it may be a neat idea. Kids love to get mail, too!

If anyone wants to do this, note me and I'll send the address to you.

I have a daughter that's six and a son that is seven. smile

You are braver than I.

Don't let this get out-but I figure they're pretty cool folks. Most of them.

The ones that aren't building Prince shrines in their bedroom with candles and baby oil.

Could be cool for the kiddos.

biggrin

(I just wouldn't let anybody babysit.)

Me, too! I used to have a "Prince" pen-pal, and, like you, we lost contact in our mid to late teens, well, my late teens anyway, she was older than I was! I got her name and address out of the back of a music magazine where they'd list people who wanted to be pen-pals, who liked certain artists. Damn, I think I was around 12 or 13. I think she was from New York. I can't really remember, don't even remember her name, but she'd send me cassettes with rare Prince music on it and these cool envelopes with Prince on them. I wonder what happened to her - maybe she's a member of the org... hmmm...

If you had said Saint Johns, Michigan, then it could of been you! lol smile
