how do you handle it when a friend or loved one crosses into your personal space ?? this is someone close to you, someone you care about a lot, but, they have gone over the line they are allowed by you as a person... how do you tell them ????? i can go off on the average joe with no problem, i am great at beating someone up with words alone.... but, when its someone i care about, i find it incredibly difficult to stand up for myself.

the last thing i want to do is bottle up how i feel, i know thats not good for me... but, i just dont want to hurt anyone either. any ideas ?

hell, just be honest, if they are your friend, they should understand and respect your feelings.

You have to say something or the relationship could suffer because you will hold onto the resentment of them crossing your boundary.
